cacruiserjen Posted April 18, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 18, 2007 Just off the Dawn Princess and thoroughly enjoyed our eager, sweet waitress. Anyway we can request her for our July cruise on same ship? She told us she won't know where she will be (meaning which dining room) yet. She will still be onboard though... Pia1913 Posted April 18, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 18, 2007 You have a good chance if you're both in Personal Choice diningrooms. When you board, see the maitre d' immediately and make your request. Pia
jayevee44 Posted April 19, 2007 #3 Share Posted April 19, 2007 We were on the Star Princess in November of 2002 and had Anytime dining. On our second night, we found a team that we really liked and booked them for the remainder of the cruise. In talking to them, we discovered that they would still be aboard on our next two cruises. As soon as we boarded those next cruises, I went to one of the Anytime dining rooms and the head waiter was there. I showed him a photo of our waiters from the first cruise and he told me which dining room they worked, but we had to be there when the dining room first opened. Once we got their table, we booked that table for the remainder of those two cruises. Good luck. Hope this helps. Jim

Yes, you can ask but as she said she's not sure where she'll be. Also just because she's there doesn't mean you'll get her station. But if you don't ask you'll never know. Go for it. But if you don't ask you'll never know. Go for it. It is probably best to wait until boarding to try and secure the same wait team. We were on a B2B, enjoyed the wait team we had, knowing we had the same table for the second leg, felt we were safe having the same team. Not to be...... they go reassigned (actually rotated) to a different set of tables. They are constantly rotating so trying to plan a month ahead probably would not work. So probably jayevee44's plan is the best idea.
