redswan Posted May 27, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 27, 2004 What services should we anticipate from the Butler service on Q5 level? I imagine the concierge service is similar to a good concierge at most upscale resorts or Hotels?? Also would appreciate any tips from others who have cruised in Q5 that would help a 1st time cruiser. Please reply in the forum or to markswannie@aol.com looking forward to June 11th
cusyl Posted May 27, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 27, 2004 Lucky you, Q5 should be quite an experience. In case you didn't know, there is a Cruise Critic visitor's log at the librarians desk. This log was started on the Maiden voyage for Cruise Critic members to sign. Just ask and they will give it to you. Please report back on how many signatures we have. Thanks. Suitecruiser31 Posted May 27, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 27, 2004 I sailed for 8 days to the Caribbean in a Q5 Suite and it was incredible. The room is beautiful and in the bar you have Waterford Glasses, a fully stocked fridge, and there is a nice Jacuzzi Tub in the bathroom. As far as the butler goes, I wasn't sure what I was going to use him for, but he was great in helping out in a lot of ways. He ironed our Tuxedo shirts a few hours before we needed them, he handled all of our laundry needs. At around 5:30 every evening he delivered our Canopes. He did a great job of taking care of our cabin and answering any questions we had about the ship and things we needed. If you happen to get a butler named David from England, tell him "Hi" for me. If you have any other questions about the Q5 Suite, let me know. Brian
