What are the chances of an upgrade. We have a cruise date of May 5th.

We got an upgrade 3 weeks before our last cruise. First time we were ever visited by the upgrade fairy. If you log into Carnival's Web site and check your booking you can see if you're still assigned to the same cabin or a different one.

Did you already have your cruise docs when you got your upgrade?? Also, Carnival booking or TA?

I got upgraded on my last Inspiration cruise less than a week before sailing

The best thing to do is not even think about it, then if you do get an upgrade, you will be suprised and happy:)

I just got a one category upgrade for a may 20th sailing. A lot of the time you get it with your documents, but a guarantee assignemnt can be given up until boarding. Like others have said don't assume you will, but be happy if you do!
