Casual restaurants near Renaissance 17th St FLL

I've searched the forums here and found quite a few restaurants around the Renaissance, but most tend to be on the expensive/more formal side. We're looking for a place to get a salad and sandwich or something similar when we arrive (won't be until 7 p.m. or so). We'll be tired for traveling, so will be in very casual clothes. Anything like a Panera Bread or similar restaurant within walking distance?

Yep, There is an Einsteins' across from the Holiday Inn Express. I think it is like a block or two from the Renaissance on the same side of the street. There is also a Cold Stone Creamery that was not open yet in January next to it but it looked like it would open soon...yummy!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Einsteins are not open for dinner. They ones around here all close around 4 p.m. Anything more "local" that's a good restaurant? Anything around $12 or so for an entree is fine!
