LouLou28 Posted June 25, 2007 #26 Share Posted June 25, 2007 Thanks for a great review - I loved reading it and it brought back so many memories!! We had an inside cabin as well when we sailed --- it was, as you said, so incredibly dark (even our children didn't wake up until after 7:30am and they are usually very early risers! - so it was very relaxing for us parents!) If you can, please post some photos as it sounds like you would have a great collection!
LizCruising2007 Posted June 26, 2007 #27 Share Posted June 26, 2007 Liz, there is no quota as to how much you can drink. I believe the girls in question had their cruise cards confiscated as they were intoxicated and refused further service of alcohol. On a cruise ship, unlike a night club where there is one bar, if you are refused service, you could go to another of many bars on the ship. By taking the card you would be unable to purchase alcohol, unless someone purchased it for you. I would assume the lecture the next day was a warning........ The amount you are "allowed to drink" depends on your behaviour as with any other licensed premises. Well I hope so........cos if they are measuring alcohol consumed I wouldn't have possession of my card very often:eek: Chez xx Haha funny. This is really interesting and I'm keen to hear from other cruisers about their experience.... Think I might start a thread on the subject.
