ocean.queen Posted April 24, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2007 Can anyone recommend a good restaurant for dinner in Chinatown on Oahu? Not too fancy. Thanks in advance.
Suebee Posted April 25, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 25, 2007 Little Village Noodle House...on smith street, a very short walk from the pier. Sounds like just a noodle shop but the name is deceiving...lots of variety of stir frys and noodles and other dishes you think of when you think chinese. Also is Legends...a little further in....great for Dim sum. Those in my opinion are the two best in the area....especially for consistancy. ocean.queen Posted April 25, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted April 25, 2007 Suebee, Thank you so much...that is just what I was looking for. We will have a full day on Oahu on Wed the 2nd (we're renting a car and doing the "circle island" on our own). We wanted to come back, clean up, and walk to Chinatown for a yummy dinner. cs4225 Posted April 25, 2007 #4 Share Posted April 25, 2007 I also agree with Suebee about the Little Village Noodle House. We always have their orange chicken when we dine there.

Suebee Posted April 26, 2007 #6 Share Posted April 26, 2007 Smith Street intersects Nimitz Highway (Ala Moana Blvd) which is the road the Aloha Tower is on. http://www.chinatownhi.com/?q=node/59 So come out of the tower lot and turn left...a few streets down is Smith.
