What happens to airport transfers purchased with cruise if you stay an extra day

We will be sailing in June and would like to spend an extra day in Copenhagen post cruise. What happens to the airport transfers that we purchased with the cruise?

Can't you contact your cruise line and drop the transfer? I think it is easy - and no charge. We called HAL and canceled a transfer!

Different cruise lines operate differently...For example, Oceania charges additionally for all transfers even if you have your air through them...Celebrity includes the transfers with the purchase of air and cruise...

 

Most lines will SELL you transfers if you are purchasing "cruise only" but doing your own air...PROVIDED you are arriving on the same day...

 

I guess the question is "How did you 'purchase' the transfers?"...If they were purchased from the cruise line at an additional charge, contact your TA and have them remove the transfers and charge from your booking...

 

However, if the transfers were part of the package of an air and cruise booking where you called for a deviation, you are probably out of luck...

 

If you are flying in (or out) a different day but purchased your hotel packages from the cruise line, with most cruise lines, that includes transfers and they WILL provide you with transportation on that different day...For example, when we booked Celebrity to the Med and used their hotels for a 2 night pre-cruise in Venice and a 2-night post-cruise in Barcelona, they had a good number arriving with us in Venice and had a bus and agent waiting at the airport...In Barcelona, they sent a van for us and another couple who had done the 2-night post-cruise...When we did a 2-night post-cruise with Celebrity in Vancouver, they gave us a voucher good for an airport bus for our return...
