we just got off the ship this morning, we had a good time but this was our first time on Royal c. lines. let me start from the first.

We went up on sat. morning and stayed sat, night and sunday night at days inn coco beach, it wasn't a fancy motel, but we thought it was as clean as most, it was real reasonably priced, 2 nights taxes and all was only 264.00, not to bad

Got at the pier at about 11:30 monday morning and was on by 12:00. getting on was very fast and easy.after we got on they announced that the rooms would be open at 1:00 for us to takes our bags in, buffet was going strong,

Had the drill at 4:30 and pulled out at 5:00,

The first day, monday, to us was really kinda boring, we didn't do a lot, but maybe eat and sleep.

The second day Tues, we went to coco cay and had a great time, then went back to the ship and eat and done in the shows, follies, we loved the Karaoke. It was nothing but fun,

the third day, wed, we went shopping at nassau. we went in the straw market but i can't stand the tight fit in there so we left fast and went to the reg. shops in town, bought a few items and headed back to the ship. got ready then went to dinner, they had the chocolate buffet this night at 11:45, don't miss this. it is great.

The fourth day, thur, we went to the follies again and to the casino, didn't win anything, and then to our room around 10:00 because we had to get up and drive back home the next day, 10 hr. drive.

Friday morning, we got up and carried our bags off our selves, it was easy but you were only allowed to do this if you only had 1 bag each, and maybe a little tote,

we had great table mates,we ate with them every night.

(Now what i liked and didn't like.)

(liked)-the way we got on the first day better than carnival's way of doing it

(liked) - the room as well as carnivals

(liked)- the staff better, seem as if they cared more and liked their job, better than carnival

(liked)- the food, hands down better than carnivals

(liked)- the way they got you out the last day better than carnival

(disliked)- the activities to me were not as good as carnivals, we had to really hunt things to do in the am to maybe 7-8:00, carnival won this with us hands down.

(disliked)- our room smelled alright but when walking through the halls at time you could smell an oder, not very pleasent.

(disliked)- they only had one little ice cream machine and it was one deck above the pool, line was always long.yes i know they had ben and jerrys but that was not free.carnivals was around the food cort where you could get it after a meal.

(disliked)- we saw more drunks on this one cruise than we have on all 7 of carnivals put together.

(disliked)- there was no where to sit on this ship, they didn't have many tables at pool side, mostly lounges and they were taken early in the day by chair hogs, carnival had more tables on the decks and they had chair at every outside deck, not here.

Now don't bash me. this is just my op. doesn't mean others has to think the same as i do. we will be cruising on carnivals because we love the party feeling, and we are 50's age.we are glad that we did this cruise, any cruise is a good cruise, just we think that we will stick with carnival from now on,

We did take on 2-12 packs of diet pepsi and had no problem.

We also carried on water, just one gallon.

We had a fridge in our room because we had meds. that had to be kept cool, this was free.

If there is ANYTHING that you like me to answer please ask and if i know it i will tell.

I have plenty pictures and i will be putting them on by monday, hopefully.A lot of people has asked about tendering , and i have some great pictures of it, it will ease your mind if you are worried about it.
