Greenland & Iceland

Hi there, can anybody help me regarding what clothing I will need to take when I go on the trips in Greenland and Iceland on the cruise Artemis 24th July this year - I have no idea of what weather we might experience whilst in Greenland and Iceland and wonder whether anybody out there has done this trip before and can give me some information regarding this matter - thanks.

We were in Iceland and Greenland on Royal Princess (now Artemis) 8-98, on a repositioning from Dover to New York City.

Iceland was sunny and surprisingly warm - I was comfortable in shirt sleeves with no jacket - although I did carry a light windbreaker in case the wind came up.

Greenland was cooler, and sweater was required.

Best advice would be pack same as for Alaska - layers.

Hi Michael,

Thanks very much for replying so quickly and for valuable innformation - I haven't been to Alaska but will just take a few layers of clothes when on these trips then and peel off as necessary.

Cheers, Shirley
