Bringing wine on Noordam - what's the real deal?

I can verify that you can carry wine on board. We were on the above cruise just this month and we packed a case of all of our favorite wines, including 2 bottles of Prosecco, in a cardboard liquor box with bubble wrap. We checked in and no questions asked. You'll be fine as long as the policy has not changed.

Addressing the question about the availability of Prosecco aboard - I don't know, but they normally have splits of Henkel Trocken Sekt, a German "champagne", which is a good value and very drinkable....
