I have sailed once before on the Pride and did a tour of P.V. and this time I would like to try something new. Has anyone ever Parasailed in P.V.? If so where did you do it at and how far from the port was it? How far is Banderas Bay from the port?

Banderas Bay ... You are already there. Banderas Bay is the large bay where Vallarta is located. Reference this map - http://www.vallarta-info.com/bay.html The port is located just below the word "Marina" on the map.

 

If you click on "Hotel Zone" and it will display a map with the "Marine Terninal" (port) at the top and the northern end of the hotel strip. You can work your way south on map at a time until you get to the far end of Old Town.

 

You will be able to find parasailing just about anyplace there are a couple hotels grouped together. What you see will depend on which beach you get your ride. Close the port will get you a great view of the port area, further south in the area with the Sheraton (where we stay) will get you a view of the hotel vone and old town will get you a great view of the city.

 

Vallarta Info is a great site for Vallarta information with low commercial content. Its home page has a link to a local board just like this that is run by locals.
