CocoLocoLady Posted May 1, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 1, 2007 My grand daughter wants to see the Green Monkeys. Does anyone know of a good tour operator to go and see the Green Monkeys? Thank you for your responses. Coco
cinnam0n Posted May 2, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 2, 2007 We just saw them on our cruise in March, and it was wonderful! We chose Cameron Reid (http://www.scenicbarbados.com) to take us there. He will customize a tour for you. The Wildlife Reserve is up in the north part of the island, so you could decide which direction you want to go and if you want to see anything on the way there. We had been to some of the more popular spots in Barbados before, so we chose to have him drive up the east coast so we could visit Ragged Point Lighthouse and see the beautiful Atlantic shore. Some sites/people will tell you that you can only see the monkeys in late afternoon when they feed them, but Cameron told us you can see them anytime, and he was right! We were there around noon and they were running all over the place. His website has his email and phone numbers, and if you contact him he can give you rates. I highly recommend him.
