Meeting place in Livorno

My family is stopping in Livorno on June 4 on a RC ship. I will be in Italy at that time with a car. I plan on picking them up to drive them around Tuscany but unsure of a meeting place. A place that is obvious and accessible no matter where the ship may dock. Suggestions?

You might try meeting them at the Piazza Grande. It is on Via Grande very near the port entrance. There are several bus stop shelters here and this is where self-touring cruisers take the #1 bus to Livorno's main train station so they can get to Pisa or Florence. At the Piazza Grande there is a McDonald's on the northeast side. Hope this helps.
