David6028 Posted May 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2007 A quick question...if there is any money left in a on board credit account...is it refunded or must it be used? Thank you all
Ex-Calgarian Posted May 5, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 5, 2007 Not speaking from personal experience, I have seen other posts on the boards from people that have received cheques for any credit balances left on their account (or is that debit, I can never figure that out? ). I think they get slipped under your door on the date of debarkation.
CaptainEdwardJohnSmith Posted May 5, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 5, 2007 A quick question...if there is any money left in a on bpoard credit account...is it refunded or must it be used? Thank you all it depends on what kind of on-board-credit it is.............some of it (like complimentary OBC) is non-refundable, nor can it be applied towards payment of gratuities.....nor can it be used in the casino..............again, it depends on what kind of on-board-credit it is, if you ask at the Purser's Desk, they will tell you if it is refundable or not

truecruiser Posted May 5, 2007 #9 Share Posted May 5, 2007 i did not think they wld give you $ back for an OBC that you rec'd for a price reduction or some other perk. but, a CC member was worried about this b/c she had a large amt of OBC. Until she went, we didn't know the answer. When she returned, I asked her. This is what she said: judy -- not to divert this thread indefinitely, but what ended up being the answer to OBC left over. didn't you say you had a great deal of OBC for christams cruise and were worried if they'd cut you a check? did they? i don't think we know the answer to this yet on these boards. we only know they'll cut a check for unused funship and cash deposits. WoW! What a memory! Yes, they cut a check for the difference in our tab and our OBC (like around $150 was left) and had it attached to our bill (or whatever you call a "bill" when you don't owe anything!) slid under our door the last night. I DID NOT tell them to go **** themselves!
