it's official no more reserved deck chairs on the QE2

I received a call today from Cunard confirming they will no longer reserve deck chairs
(daily or for the entire cruise) on the QE2 . Since the maintenance work in May, they have added a bar area where the chairs used to be on the sun deck, and they have done away with reserved seating. So it will be a mad dash to the chairs in good weather. Sort of like trying to get a chair at the pool at Mandalay Bay or the Belaggio in Las Vegas during pool weather! That's a shame, IMHO. It was nice knowing that if we wanted tea on the Sun Deck we would be guaranteed a place to enjoy it. From the photos that someone (I'm sorry, I can't remember who) was kind enough to post, it looks rather crowded now. I'm not keen on the bandstand either...
