Stingray Snorkeling Adventure - Pearl Island

Has anyone been on a Stingray Snorkeling Adventure at Peral Island? I'm taking the Carnival Glory this summer and am looking for a good snorkel adventure. The problem is that we dock in Nassau for one day from 10-4 which eliminates us using many of the independent tour companies. Any thoughts would be helpful.

If this includes snorkeling off the reef, and not just the stingrays.. then it should be fine.

Be aware, the coral "shelf" leading into the water is rugged, you may need water shoes.

We did the Treasure Hunt, but saw the area with the Stingrays. It seemed very small and crowded. If I had found this board before our first cruise I would have avoided Pearl Island and I do not reccomend it to anyone.
