Gocruzin Posted May 7, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2007 I read a review that said the kids must find a bathroom-buddy to go to the restroom with because there is not a restroom in the AO on this ship. Does anyone know for sure if this is true? My cruise depends on it since I am not comfortable with my DS leaving the AO at the age of 4 to go potty.
Rare DCPIV Posted May 7, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2007 I remember one in the back of the AO room. I haven't been in it, of course, but I remember it there. Even if my memory is failing me, we never had any problem with our son (now 6, but 4 on his first Rhapsody cruise) having any problem. D
MellowMel Posted May 8, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 8, 2007 There is a bathroom in the AO on the Rhapsody for the 3-8 year old kids. It's closest to the 3-5 age group. I'm sure they send a buddy for safety reasons but the kids do not leave the AO area to use the restroom. I did walk into the bathroom on the Open House day on the day we boarded and the toilets are lower to the ground the there is a tiled permanent step up so the kids can reach the sink. I worried about my 6-year-old and the restroom because she has a weak bladder but she was able to use the restroom as frequently as she needed with no issues.
