cruiserstyle Posted May 7, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2007 We will be in port @ Cabo. Mazatlan & Puerto Vallarta. Is a person able to walk to the beach access, or is this not possible ? We are hoping to find the water without taking a tour/shore excursion. Any info will be appreciated. "Thanks" ahead of time !!
Enjoying every moment Posted May 15, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 15, 2007 LaRopa Beach is a delightful place in Puerto Vallarta. You can take a taxi to LaPerla Restaurant for less than $6.00. You can get a table and stay as long as you want and use the beach. From the beach, you will see your ship. Say hello to Francisco, the owner, from Sue. Hope this helps! gottago2mexico Posted May 20, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 20, 2007 We will be in port @ Cabo. Mazatlan & Puerto Vallarta. Is a person able to walk to the beach access, or is this not possible ? We are hoping to find the water without taking a tour/shore excursion. Any info will be appreciated. "Thanks" ahead of time !! All the beaches in Mexico are public beaches, and all the beaches in these port towns are easily accessible by the public, with the exception of Las Caletas in Puerto Vallarta that is privately owned by Vallarta Adventures. Many of the beaches in Puerto Vallarta are only accessible by boat (Las Animas, Quimixto, Majahuitas, Las Caletas, Yelapa), but many are also accessible by land (La Manzanilla, Nuevo Vallarta, Bucerias, Los Muertos, Mismaloya). Lovers Beach in Cabo is only accessible by boat as well. You will have no trouble finding a nice beach to spend time on at any of the ports. Hope this helps, have a great time!
