carenyllie Posted May 7, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2007 Problem.....was on the cruise last month. I was on Century in April and found one of my $100 casino chips in my makeup bag yesterday!!! This was our first time on X and really didn't care for it too much so I don't foresee myself going back. Will the cruise line reimburse me if I send it back to them (return receipt req'd of course!)? Or will I have to "sell" it to someone?
6502programmer Posted May 7, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2007 You could try calling, but my guess is that they will only convert between chips and money on the ship. Another option is that I believe you would be able to convert it on a Royal Caribbean cruise. If neither X nor RC are your speed, you'll likely have to sell it, through EBay, CC, or perhaps at a pier with an RC or X ship docked.
carenyllie Posted May 7, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted May 7, 2007 We LOVE Royal Caribbean.....you really think they would take it?
6502programmer Posted May 7, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 7, 2007 You could try the players club, at 305-982-2584. I'm sure they would be the best to answer. I'm kind of curious though, so if you find out something, please keep us posted!
Fatfish Posted May 7, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 7, 2007 You could probably sell it on ebay or via craigslist.
bigwally Posted May 7, 2007 #6 Share Posted May 7, 2007 What about sending it to someone and having them play it for you? I'll volunteer to do so on our Century trip in September. I can't promise you I'll win anything, but I will promise to turn over what I do win in cash, American. Actually, if you just wanted me to just cash it in for you and mail the $100 back on our return, I could do that too. Your choice.
