should we just relax at alyeska resort?

First trip to alaska and first cruise. Thought we might just kick around at the resort or should we take another excursion. We are on the #19 cruisetour in August with HAL. thanks any info welcome.SOOOO!EXCITED!!!!!

The Bake Shop not quite a mile back down the road (behind the Jade Shop) has excellent breakfasts and lunches. When we're up visiting the grandchildren each year, we make a point to go down to Girdwood just for lunch. Nancy

thanks have all excursions booked and thought a day of just being a laid back tourist would be good. wander the resort and walk the grounds.Husband loves baked good so a great walk in the morning sounds perfect.

When you see the Jade Shop, assuming it's still there, the Bake Shop is just up the hill behind it. Nancy
