:) My husband and I booked a cruise on the Carnival Glory on Oct 27-Nov 3 to the Eastern Caribbean. He has never cruised before and it is only my second cruise. I cruised on the Triumph in Dec 1999. We booked a balcony room since it is my 40th birthday and his 45th birthday while on the cruise. We are booked in cabin 7339. Has anyone ever had this cabin before? Is it in a good location? Are there any "tips" anyone can give us about the ports or the shipin general? We are really loooking forward to the cruise! I hope hurricane season won't dampen anything. Any advice would be great!

THANKS!!:)

Welcome to Cruise Critic....I havn't sailed the Glory yet....I'm waiting on 9/27/08...Cabin 7339 looks like a good one since it is mid ship...I wouldn't worry about hurricanes...We have sailed a lot in hurricane season...And everything has always been great...Happy Cruising...:)

My DHand I sailed on Glory in April of this year.....beautiful ship. We were in the same deck but a different cabin. Very quiet and being mid ship you will be close to elevaters, laundry room, pantry. Have a great cruise!!!:D

This is my favorite ship so far. The ship for the most part is easy to get around. IF you have the platinium dinning room be prepared for an adventure as you have to go up two decks then go towards the back of the boat then go down two decks. No lie it toke 15 people including myself 45 minutes to find it. I just wanted to try the sit down lunch that day but after that I just stuck with the buffet. If you have the golden dinning room you just go to the deck that you entered on and turn left behind the lobby bar. Great food and if you have some extra money go to the EMERALD ROOM SUPPER CLUB FOOD IS FANTASTIC!! I am not sure who the cruise director going to be if it is Ralph "Wee Jimmy" you are in for a treat. He is my favorite cruise director!! St. Thomas is nice I did the Journey through Paradise which was an exploring and shopping tour which had some breathtaking views. there is a shopping center called AH RIISE which had a lot of variety of things to buy. St. Martin (my favorite islando so far) I did the butterfly farm and Merigot and it was really nice. Do not forget to go to Phillipsburg (capital of dutch side) it is cool seeing the old town with the new. IF you are a chocolatic like me go to a shop called THE BELIGIAN CHOCOLATE BOX ON OLD STREET CHOCOLATE TO DIE FOR!! If you have Nassu Bahamams visit the Atlantis resort and casino it was really nice and there is also a Senior Frogs near the port to eat. Have a great time.
