You asked a while back if I would be on the IOW ferry on 2nd Oct to take photos of the QE2 with you on it.

 

I have to apologise but I will be nowhere near Southampton on that day having booked my own cruise :) for 24th Sept returning 6th.

 

I am afraid I am defecting to another line, I was unable to get on the Caronia on the cruise I wanted without taking out a 2nd mortgage, and don't fancy QE2 or QM2 (2 many horror stories about Mauritania and Britannia restaurants I'm afraid!).

 

However I have found some one to cruise with, this year anyway, as my brother is newly single.

We are taking the (whispers) P+O Oceana (normal voice) to the Mediterranean (Palma, Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Livorno and Gibraltar). We will be travelling back up to Southampton as you are travelling down - so look out for us (our ship has a big yellow funnel) & wave!! We will do the same. :)
