Sun class Mini's vs Grand class suites

It looks to me like the mini's on the sun class look more like the suites on the grand class......I've stayed in a suite on the Golden. Is this true???

(I may have an opportunity to book a mini on the Dawn)

Yes, they are laid out very much like a full suite on the Grand class, without the wet bar (at least for the AC minis). There is a separate living room and bedroom as well as a split bathroom with a whirlpool tub. They do not, however, qualify for the full suite perks.
