Pearl-Soda onboard?

I didn't realize you could bring soda onboard. Is there any problems doing so?

We observed people bringing on water and soda on our recent cruise on the Pearl. :)

Did they bring it on as a case of soda or did they place it in a carry-on

Refrigerator cases and water in plastic strips with their carry ons.:)

Both water and soda arrived at our cabin without any problems. Usually I carry them on with us but we put our extra luggage tags on as suggested which made our carry on items so much lighter. Hubby still opted for his soda card but I had my root beer and flavored water.
