balcony question

we are going to be on the conquest in a balcony cabin. are the curtains heavy so that daylight does not come in? i like DARK until i am ready to wake up....

On our last cruise, we never had a problem sleeping in with the balcony room. The curtains are usually made of a very heavy/thick fabric that does not let light penetrate. The sunlight never came in until we opened the curtainsand it was still very dark when we woke up. I don't think you will have a problem.

We've had a balcony cabin before and never had any trouble napping in the middle of the afternoon. The curtains worked great.
