Em6554 Posted August 10, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 10, 2004 On our last cruise, we never had a problem sleeping in with the balcony room. The curtains are usually made of a very heavy/thick fabric that does not let light penetrate. The sunlight never came in until we opened the curtainsand it was still very dark when we woke up. I don't think you will have a problem. ~Em
Em6554 Posted August 10, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 10, 2004 I just realized we will be boarding the ship when you are getting off. I'm on the 9/5 sailing of the Conquest!! Enjoy your cruise!
cathyp1216 Posted August 10, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 10, 2004 We've had a balcony cabin before and never had any trouble napping in the middle of the afternoon. The curtains worked great.
