Cozumel's "Unlimited Beach Snorkel"

How does this excursion work?

a) Do we enter water off a boat or walk from shore into the water?

b) Can I leave area and return to ship whenever I wish or do I need to wait for the entire excursion group to return to the ship?

We did the Unlimited Beach Snorkel while on Radiance. They have a small beach where you enter the water, and you can return to the boat anytime you wish. I would highly recommend this for beginners as the instructor's really take the time to make sure everyone is setup correctly, they don't rush, and most of the time you are in fairly shallow water.
