Jewlry????

Does anyone make buying jewlry part of the Alska cruise? We have gone on two trips and have bought both times. But beat them down on the price, we go from shop to shop and tell them the price and if they can beat it we would come back and buy. We have been happy with our deals in the past. But was wondering if it was a part of other cruisers plans in ports.

Thanks

You will find the same jewelry stores here with the same stuff as in the Caribbean and other areas. If going from store to store is your thing rather than a whale watch or a flight to Misty Fjords, go for it.

There are some local stores that sell Alaska jewelry (mostly nuggets and native-made) but they are not likely to bargain much.
