4nt cruise formal night ?

Recommended Posts

We are going on our 1st cruise in 1 week! YEAH!

My question is how formal is formal on a 4 night cruise? Prom/Bridesmaid dress or daytime wedding attire?

Also, what is the dress code on the 1st night? I have heard it is more casual than the other nights. Is this true? What does less casual mean? Sundress or capris & nice top?

Thanks in advance!

Hi there!

I have done 4 nighters and 7 nighters...The 7 nighter is definitely more formal, not to say that people don't dress up on 4-nighters. Most people do indeed dress up, more cocktail dresses than gowns, but you see them both. Capris and glitzy tops, heels too. You will be fine.

The first night ends up being more casual sometimes because ppl don't have their luggage yet, LOL But, we still try to dress nicely.

Good luck to you, will be be addicted to cruising like the rest of us!!! LOL:) But, that's a good thing!:)
