cot427 Posted May 21, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2007 I am traveling with 11 people on a cruise. My flight is the day before the cruise leaves so I needed a hotel. I booked the Sleep Inn Fort Lauderdale in Dania. The 2 room have 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. Two reasons I booked it were because of free airport transportation and deluxe continental breakfast. Does anybody know any info about this hotel? Also, does anybody know any transportation services that are reasonable for 11 people? Thanks

space cowboy Posted May 26, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 26, 2007 I thought it was nice motel, I would recommend to any one who needs a clean, safe, reasonably priced place to sleep. And I'll be back there again November.
ciocc64 Posted May 26, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 26, 2007 Personaly i could not recommend it dania is a longway from Port everglades if your coming to ft lauderdale stay in ft lauderdale Why stay in a dodgy area to save a few bucks hotels on http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=hotel+17th+street+ft+lauderdale+ Are probably the best
cot427 Posted May 27, 2007 Author #5 Share Posted May 27, 2007 But they offer free shuttle service to and from the Airport and cruise port in fort lauderdale, so it would be close if its free, because of the price of gas. So if the shuttle is free, stay here.
Bequia Posted May 27, 2007 #6 Share Posted May 27, 2007 Personaly i could not recommend it dania is a longway from Port everglades if your coming to ft lauderdale stay in ft lauderdale The Sleep Inn in Dania Beach is 6.5 miles from Port Everglades, the cab ride or shuttle is less then 15 minutes. It's a wonderful safe area. Get your facts straight.
cot427 Posted May 27, 2007 Author #7 Share Posted May 27, 2007 That's what I am saying. It is a great area with great amenities and its a mile from the beach. Great area, not far from port canaveral like Ciocc64 said.

Great area, not far from port canaveral like Ciocc64 said. I'm sure you mean't to write Port Everglades...:p No, it's not far from the port as I pointed out. It's in a safe residential neighborhood with a supermarket and drug store next door, a few restaurants and a huge beach 1.5 miles east of it. I'd stay there anytime.
