does anyone know if kids club is open the night of embarkation on a weeks med cruise.When we went on panama cruise it wasn't but that was a 14 night cruise.The reason i am asking is would like to eat in portofinos restaurant the first night so we don't miss sail away and have read children have to be 13 or older to eat here.:(

Without knowing what line you're sailing, that's hard to answer! We've sailed both Princess and Carnival and on all of our cruises, the first night is registration and then the activities start the next day.

It's the same with NCL, too. Registration and tour the first night, open the next morning...

I don't know of any line whose kid's areas are open the night of embarkation. And it's true, most specialty restaurants do have a minimum age.

sorry! brain dead again RCL is who we are sailing with.Thanks all for the info i think i can assume no kids club first night we will just have to eat in the windjammer( not so terrible)!
