Underwater camera options?

Hi everyone, we're going on a cruise in 18 days with rain forest and snorkeling activities, and would really like to take good pictures. We really don't want to use an underwater disposable camera.

We were looking around online to see what we could do, and came up with several conclusions.

- We have an older Nikon 5200, which takes great pictures, but the underwater casing is a little too expensive for an older camera

- We took a look at the new Olympus Stylus 770, and saw that the user reviews were HORRIBLE; the camera got water logged the first time people used it and it broke

- We were taking a look at underwater "bags" like the Dicapac, but I can't find a place online that the warranty covers the CAMERA in case water does get into a defective bag

Does anyone have a good, relatively inexpensive suggestion? Thanks!
