Pride of Aloha OR Pride of Hawaii

I'm planning to take a cruise this summer but I can't decide which NCL ship to take. Generally, Pride of Aloha is cheaper but is that because it's an older ship. I'm leaning toward Pride of Hawaii because I heard it will be leaving for Europe next year. Also I have two kids (age 4 & 7) and they love to swim. Which ship has the most kid fun pools?

Knowing that the POH has kiddie pool, I booked a cabin this August with air provided by NCL. Afterwards, reading these threads, I realize that these Hawaiian cruises are more enjoying the islands than spending time in the ship. My kids like the ship which includes the the on board activities. During port days which is almost the whole day, are there kids programs and I don't mean the ones you have to pay hourly?
