Some Answers About B2B cruises

Glad you had a good time on your B2B2B! DH and I are doing one in Feb next year and can't wait. We can't decide on picking a room and keeping it for the 14 days, or keeping our guarantee and hoping for upgrades though...Decisions decisions! :D If anyone is looking for a good B2B2B, I think we got a good one - the Imagination from 2-16 Feb - covers Valentine's Day and doesn't repeat any ports. And the Imagination will have been newly renovated! We'd love the company... :D

We just got home from 3 B2B cruises on the Fascination. On this ship we waited by the pursers desk at around 9:30 a.m. and they escort you off the ship after the last passengers are off, through customs and then right back on the ship. Since we had the same cabin for all 3 cruises we were able to get back in our cabin when we re-boarded. It was neat having the ship to ourselves for a couple hours before the next group boarded. We also received champagne and chocolate covered strawberries (3 different times!) and some drink coupons.

Excellent. I can't wait to do a B2B, let alone a B2B2B.

Payd:)

 We are cruising on the Carnival Freedom for the Christmas 2007 trip, and then continuing on for the NewYears trip doing the Eastern and Western Caribbean. Yeah! Might as well splurge on something we love doing over the holidays rather than traveling way up north and freeze with extended family.

Will we hopefully be able to use the hot tubs in the downtime while the ship is being readied for the new passengers? We certainly hope so, and we hope we get some of those drink coupons mentioned in the first post.

Does anyone know if we purchase alcohol in the duty free shop the first cruise, will it be delivered to our room the night before the first cruise ends, and then enjoy the second week in our room? Or will they wait to deliver until the end of the second cruise?

Yes, it will be delivered the last afternoon of your first cruise. Or you can just go to the duty-free store the last day, since they let you keep anything you purchase.

We jsut got back from a b2b on the ?Fantasy. What you say is so true, you feel special when it's just you and the crew and not one other passenger. Especially when Carnival personally escorts you thru and you are first to get a new Sail and Sign card.

We did exactly that with the liquor. You buy a bottle and on the last night of the first cruise it is delivered to your room. Now you have that bottle to use in your cabin for the enxt Cruise. Same with Cigarettes. You can purchase the quota for each cruise since each one is a separate cruise. You get a new Sail and sign card on each cruise, you get a separate bill after each cruise. it's basically you are starting fresh with each cruise, even though your not moving a thing. Plus all the crew gets to know you, as the others ae only there for a very short time. Even the photographers get to know you and they will leave you alone once you buy something or not.

I'm definitely going to do this again. As with the OP, we fly in from NY, so 3,4 or even 5 days are jsut not enough.
