I know before my 1th cruised that I was worried about picking a cabin.Well with tips from fellow cruisers and reading this forum we were happy with our cabin. We were in Cabin 5573 on SOS May 7-11th.It was an inside cabin, but we didn't mind at all.Our cabin Stuart Derk was awesome. He was very nice and got us whatever we needed.I am not sure if all regular cabins are as tiny as the inside cabin because this was my first cruise.I though NYC hotel room were small lol. Well the main part of the cabin was not to bad for my husband and myself, but the shower was tinny tiny. The decor was nice and the bed was very very comfortable. We were also close to the elevators and stairs and that was very nice.We felt this floor was a good location. We were on the same level as the Casino, shopping,Schooner Bar,Follies Lounge, the Arcade and Jen & Jerry's/Latté-tudes.One floor down was our dining room,The Centrum and Purser's Square. From there we just hopped on the elevator to go up or down. There were rooms above and below us and we did not hear any noise. We could barley hear anything from the cabins next to too.I think I heard the tv slightly one night. Thanks to whoever was above, below and next to us you were quit.I can only hope we were too.We did try to be.We would stay in this cabin again. We didn't have an issues with light because we sleep with the tv on and the bath room is like two steps from the bed.Time was kinda an issue, but there is a channel with military time on the tv and we checked our cell phone too.
