hisheets Posted May 29, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2007 We're leaving in 12 day for our first Alaskan cruise. We have booked the Photo Safari tour, hoping to see picturesque spots and get closer to wildlife and scenery. Is anyone familiar with this tour? Or would we be better off to go whale watching with Marv and Harv (I've been reading about them!)
CasaSmith Posted May 31, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 31, 2007 Our Photo Safari tour was cancelled because not enough participants. We ended up on a Mendhall Glacier and Whale watching tour, where we got to see around 5 humpbacks, an eagle flying and harbour seals. So check with the cruise company and see if they have enough people signed up.
DisneyScrapper Posted June 1, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 1, 2007 Oh man that stinks. I sure hope that doesn't happen to anyone else, like us........:(
Rock712 Posted June 1, 2007 #4 Share Posted June 1, 2007 We just came back off the Island southbound last week. We did Harv & Marv and had a blast. However , we did meet someone who took the photo safari and he said it was great. worth every penny. So , I really dont think you can go wrong with either choice.
