Hey...so im not as much of a night owl...as i am not an early riser ..which makes me in turn a night owl...anyways thats beside the point...is there stuff to do late at night? I'm not talking midnight...there's obviously some activity going on like the comedy shows...im talking 3 am and later...maybe up to 4 am....

if so what types of activities.....Im talking about the sensation btw....

And it it wise to stay up late? I mean like will I miss a lot of good stuff in the morning and early afternoon? or is a lot of the good stuff in the evenings and nights....

casino's open until around 2-2:30 or so, clubs, piano bar too. I always sleep until 12 or 1 in the afternoon on my days off at home, but on a cruise, I'm up at the crack of dawn, and not in bed until 2 or 3 in the morning trying to do everything. Can't really say from experience what goes on after around 2:30 or so, by then, I'm ready for a nap before the next day :)

Most of the action is earlier in the night. When we were on the Sensation almost everyone was in bed by 3am. The casino and disco closed about 2am. I didn't see any scheduled activities that late. We loved to sit grab a slice of pizza hang out on the outside deck looking at the stars before bed.

I'm from Georgia too. There are a lot of us around here!

At 4am you can do any one of the following:

(1) Watch teenagers making out on the loungechairs by the pool on the lido deck.

(2) Eat pizza, or watch the above teenagers do so.

(3) Gather around the 24 hour coffee machine with the other vampires.

(4) Bay at the moon. It is usually out with the stars at sea.

(5) Help the cleaning staff swab the deck.

(6) Or if you are totally awake and bored, put on the TV and watch the reruns of whatever the social directors did that day.

(7) Watch the ship cam on one of the stations - that'll put you to sleep all right.

I second all of that.

Usually things don't start happening on the ship until around noon - that's when the bands start.

My question is somewhat of a branch off of the same tree - how late/early are drinks (alcohol - foo foo - beer) available on the cruise? Can you get a drink in the early morning hours? What about after sunrise? Are there "no alcohol" time periods or is it served 24/7?

Of course, this information isn't for me ... it's for ... ummm .. a friend of mine. Yeah, that's it ... for a friend of mine.
