Embracedbylife Posted May 29, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2007 Hi, we are considering booking a cruise in 2008 for Sweden, Finland, Russia, Poland and Norway, return from Copenhagen. Does anyone know what time of year is best for this cruise? They run from May to Sept. Thanks!
LKN-NC Posted May 30, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 30, 2007 we cruised the Baltic August 30-Sept 11 last year and the weather was lovely, in the 60-70's. Cool at night, but in all very pleasant. On a couple days with a shower or two, didn't bother us at all. We returned to London on Sept 11 and it was in the upper 80's. Most ports were busy but not overly crowded. longislandfamily Posted June 4, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 4, 2007 We didn't go on a cruise to Scandinavia, touring by land instead. However, we went at the end of June, early July. It was fantastic because of the extremely long days, being so close to the summer solstice. It was also only in the 70's at that time of the summer.
