any perks in a minisuite??

There really aren't many perks in the mini-suites. You will have access to the concierge for making your reservations, you will have to make the initial contact...since he will be busy with the full-suites. If you do use the concierge's services remember that they are not part of the $10 a day tip pool.......so tip them based upon how much you use their services.

 

Your cabin will be larger than the balcony cabins, and you will have a bathtub.

You will get a bud vase with a stem of flowers, a fuit basket, a nicer bathroom, bathrobes, a bar of oatmeal soap. The cabin was very nicely decorated and we enjoyed it very much. It is just roomier than a regular balcony, and we enjoyed the extra space.

 

We never used the concierge, we made our own reservations.

Not too much except the bathroom is much better-with a tub and more room. The concierge will make ressies for you if you want, the best part is just more elbow room :)

The minisuite on the Dawn are small. I was very disappointed. If you have sailed on RCCL's explorer of the Seas it's the same size as a D1 cabin.

You also get a bottle of champagne, on Princess anyways. =)

The "champagne" is for full suites.

When we were on the Jewel in 2006, we asked for VIP tender passes and received them from the concierge. Some people have said this has not been the case for them, but does'nt hurt to ask!

Not too many perks, but the bathroom is pretty nice compared to a regular room! Have a great cruise!
