63galaxie Posted June 6, 2007 #152 Share Posted June 6, 2007 3 extended 8b balconies, at the stern, Empress Deck 7, Carnival Conquest,10/21/07 Military Rate per person, including taxes and port charges: $678.16 CSA insurance through TA, per person: $45.20 Initially booked directly with Carnival ($731.06) but transferred to TA and saved 10% more plus got a good deal on the insurance, which I wanted during hurricane season and since we have elderly parents, etc. Would you be so kind to email me your TA info? We just booked 3 cabins through Carnival and I too need to get a good rate on travel ins. for my elderly in-laws (plus I might get a good discount too)! We booked one of the cabins using the military discount. Thanks. seankaren@bellsouth.net
oogeyboots Posted June 7, 2007 #153 Share Posted June 7, 2007 We paid around 614.00 each for six nights on Liberty in Oct 07 eastern with a guaranteed balcony cat 8A or above. Flights from Michigan 199.00 each. Went with vacations to go. Thats with all taxes and everything and a balcony cabin with a un obstruted view. I am happy with the price. Now need to make some calls to see if we can get any onboard credit. Lynn

Luv2cruise14 Posted June 7, 2007 #155 Share Posted June 7, 2007 My mom and I paid $399 pp for the Triumph in Sept. Not sure what category we have, I just know we're in an inside cabin on the Lido deck :D
Avril Posted June 7, 2007 #156 Share Posted June 7, 2007 I'm paying $2,154 ($1,077 per person) for a category 9A with a wrap-around balcony (cabin number 6483) on the Conquest (7 day Western Caribbean) next February for my boyfriend and I (his 1st cruise, my 8th). :D I've never had a wrap-around balcony (I get my 1st aft balcony - not wrap around - this September on my Pride cruise). I can't wait!!!! :D
Adeena62 Posted June 7, 2007 #157 Share Posted June 7, 2007 Some people are not comfortable sharing how much they paid for their cruise, which is fair, but why be meanspirited about it. After I sailed out of New Orleans two years ago I was very pleased with my price until I later found out I had paid about twice or even three times as much as I should have. I still get rude references to that fact and was called all kind of names from liar to being ignorant. Knowledge is power. I am paying $319 pp for a four day on the Fantasy this summer. I agree 100%. If you don't want to share, then don't. Why bother with 'cash' or 'none of your business.' We paid $1,998.00 for two people. It was a 7 day western caribbean on the Glory in April. Balcony on the Empress deck. Well worth it. We had a great time!

Drew's Wife Posted June 7, 2007 #159 Share Posted June 7, 2007 On our next cruise, by the time we had our Military discount, Thank you Rewards, and then another rate decrease, we have onboard credit coming!:D Not bad for a four day getaway with a Category 11!:) I'm so thrilled!! tada Posted June 7, 2007 #160 Share Posted June 7, 2007 We booked a 7 day Southern Caribbean cruise on the Destiny on 9/2/07. We booked a GTY Balcony, and have received a Cat 8D so far. We paid $609 pp + tax = $1322, and receive $100 on board credit. The airfare for two from Denver to San Juan ran $857 total for both of us. So the final amount was $1322 + $857 = $2179 for both of us total. I think that was a good deal.

Soccerfan Posted June 29, 2007 #169 Share Posted June 29, 2007 Carnival Liberty 6 Day Western Caribbean, Aug 25th 07. Inside Upper Deck, $299 & $70 tax pp plus $100 OBC per cabin. Carnival Liberty, same itinerary. Nov 4th 07. Panorama Deck Inside. $298pp plus $70 tax pp. 3rd and 4th person rate $229.00 plus $70 tax. Carnival freedom, Western Caribbean. Nov 2008. $298pp plus $70 tax. $100 OBC per cabin plus a bottle of wine thrown in. How can I stay home at these prices? I just have my fingers crossed that they will change the Jamaica stop as it was originally Costa Maya, I'd prefer to go there. If not we'll treat it as another sea day and enjoy the pool. :D
