What is your favorite drink?

Recommended Posts

You can now order the drink mix (Island Oasis) at their online store. This is the mix that they use on Carnival - they have mango, pina colada, strawberry daq., margarita, and banana. It is the best!! Just add ice and alcohol & you have a party!

I TRY to stick to just Coors Light but did try a few of the drinks of the days.

DH LOVED Miami Vices and Pina Coladas...funny to see Mr Macho with a foo foo drink in his hand. LOL

I tried the Mojito one day....I did NOT like it. To me it tasted like fingernail polish remover and toothpaste.

Tanquerey Martini - very dry. 5 Queen olives. Violently shaken. If you don't get infintessimally small ice chips that pass through the strainer, than you haven't shaken it violently enough.

Take three on an empty stomach. See you in the morning:D

OUCH!!!!

What is in a dirty banana, besides the obvious? What is in a Miami Vice, this one has been mentioned several times? Are these special foo-foo drinks of the day? If so I can't wait to try them, yay.:) :) :)

Dirty Banana:

1 oz creme de bananes

1 oz creme de cacao

1 oz Kahlua® coffee liqueur

2 scoops vanilla ice cream

Blend six ice cubes with ice-cream in a blender until smooth. Add liqueurs and continue blending, again until smooth. Add more ice-cream if needed (for milk-shake consistency). Pour into a highball glass, and serve.

Miami Vice

5 oz Bacardi® 151 rum

1 package frozen pina colada mix

1 package frozen daiquiri mix

1. Mix pina colada with 2.5 oz. of rum w/ ice. Set aside.

2. Mix daiquiri with 2.5 oz. of rum w/ ice.

3. While frozen, add pina colada mix to a cocktail glass. Add the daiquiri mix on top, keeping it seperated from the pina colada mix. Serve.

Go to http://www.drinksmixer.com/ for all drinks

Just curious if Carnival has the drink that RCCL has. Depending on eastern or western itinerary it's either a coco loco or labadoozie.

It has rum, creme of coconut, orange juice and papaya juice.... I think....

Excellent drink, but don't know a name for it.

I only had them virgin....they were GREAT! My last 2 cruises have been RCCL...I enjoyed them greatly, but I am glad to be going on Carnival again. The one thing I liked about RCCL, and they may do this on Carnival now, is that they brought around all the drinks virgin, and then if you wanted to alcohol they just poured it on.

Favorites while on board:

Planter's Punch

Mojito (My all-time favorite cocktail. Just don't get your hopes up for getting one on board as the Summit is the only cruise that readily prepared them)

Capairehnia (I can't spell it and can barely pronounce it but the Summit made great ones. They're made with cacacha, a Brazilian rum-type liquor.)

Rum Runner

Bloody Mary (Love 'em when they're cheap in the mornings while I spend a few bucks in the casino.)
