Options other than Florence

I was wondering if it pays to go to Lucca instead of Florence. We did Florence last year and I was wondering if there are any other options. We will be there on Sunday. We also did Pisa.

I spent a week in Lucca about 3 years back. It is a delightful medieval compact walled city, and as have many others on the board I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

 

However, I also spent 10 days in Florence a couple of years before that, and still didn't get to see everything. If you only had a day in Florence last time, don't think you've done it all, there's plenty of sightseeing left!
