Hey thanks a lot Amber...yeah it was really exciting... I can't imagine not taking a cruise at least once a year now....btw your second cruise is coming up fast! hope you have fun...ill be in school :-(

 

So will I, but there are never tests in the 2nd week of school, and this college girl can't afford to cruise unless it's Hurricane season. haha

Just one suggestion for you, as it pertains to Nassau.

 

You need to get away from Bay Street and the Straw Market which are right next to the Welcome Center and the Pier. (this is by far the worst part of Nassau IMO)

Needless to say, the people and shops there are just trying to get the cash from the lazy cruisers who don't walk more than a few hundred yards from the pier.

There are tons of great things and places to see in Nassau, away from Bay Street and other than Atlantis. (which to me, you might as well just go to Vegas. Same experience, just more overpriced. Unless a tiny cup of Macaroni and cheese sells for $12 in your area.)

 

The Queen's Staricase and the view from Fort Fincastle, above it, are not to be missed.

Great review! Glad you won some money in the casino. Be prepared though not to have that beginner's luck next time. My first Carnaval cruise, I won $300.00 playing bingo. I sure haven't won a dime since then. :rolleyes:
