Weather in January

We are on the POH January 21, 2008. What will the weather be like? Will the seas be rough?

We've done all of our trips to Hawaii in January and that includes two cruises. It is the rainy season but we've never had much problems. Had to dodge a rain or two but never any all day type rains, mostly showers.

 

Seas can be rough at times. This is the time of year they have those big waves on the North Shore. The couple of times we've had heavy seas were always on the north side of islands and lasted only a few hours until we turned around the corner.

 

No one can predit what you may have . We've had two weeks of nothing but blue skys on some trips. Temps have always run 68-72 for lows and 80-82 for highs. Compared to Branson, MO in January, that's Heaven.
