Love Cruis'n Posted June 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2007 On Saturday, July 21, we’ll be taking the RCI “Nice, Eze & Monaco” excursion, which provides (at an extra fee) the opportunity to go into the Grand Casino – which we have every intention of doing. Our excursion is from about 10:30 AM, lasting about 8-8 ½ hours, so we’ll be heading back to our ship by about 6 PM. Questions: Do I need a jacket and tie at that time of day? If so, do you think it will be safe if left on board the tour bus earlier in the day? Will the craps tables be open? Do they have video poker machines (DW’s favorite) or just “reel” slots? Since cameras are not allowed inside, is there a good method of checking my camera securely? Finally, does anyone know the minimum wager at the craps, roulette, and baccarat tables? Thanks, Terry - or should I say Bond. ;) ....James Bond :p PS - Do they have an ATM inside, so I don't need to lug around a bunch of Euros in my money belt all day? Betsy's Mom Posted June 5, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 5, 2007 If you use the "search" function in the upper right (as you face your screen) and input Grand Casino on this forum you will find lots of information as well as the web site which will give you more. When I was there it was not much during the day, no tables open, sort of a seedy place. I think it is only "Grand" late at night. Lots of hipe, but no real glamor unless yu are allowed into the upper rooms with very, very high stakes and you generally have to be known to get in there. Good Luck:) B.
