Canadians in Skagway??

Hi all,

 

Some where in this forum I came accross a posting saying a Canadian couple joined an American couple with a rental car crossing the US/CAN border. We were told by Avis since we are canadians we can't even be inside a USA registered car. So can we share a ride or not?? now i am confused.

I don't know where Avis finds these people ! :( Yes, you certainly can ride with Americans (or any other nationality) who are driving the car :)
