Hurricane

No, they don't sail into a Hurricane. The cruise ships try to avoid the Hurricane's. We waved good bye to people on the Inspiration last weekend and they won't bring them back to Tampa until the water receeds after the Hurricane.

The cruise lines have to wait and see if there is any damage. In the case of the port of Tampa, Carnival will have to see if the port reopens after the storm. It may be that Carnival has to take the passengers to Miami, FT. Lauderdale or Pt. Canvaeral and then bus them back to Tampa. This has happened before at other ports.
