ReadyToCruiseAgain Posted June 8, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 8, 2007 Can anyone tell me anything about Summit Panorama Deck Cabin 8130 ? Any pictures, or info would be appreciated. Travel Agent is holding for Alaska Cruise. DO experienced cruisers think sea sickness will be a problem with this deck level and position on the deck? Thanks a lot ! CaptainG Posted June 9, 2007 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2007 8130 appears to be a standard CC cabin so the pictures on the Celebrity web site should be pretty close. As for location, we've been as far aft as 8160 and as far forward as 8056 in the Caribbean and Baltic and felt no significant movement. Haven't been to Alaska (yet), but since a lot of the cruising is in protected waters I doubt that there will be much to be concerned about. In general the best place for people prone to sea sickness is midships and on a low level. The problem with that is it will put you in a cabin without a veranda. 8130 is pretty close to midships so I think you're getting a pretty good cabin. J-man Posted June 9, 2007 #5 Share Posted June 9, 2007 We had 8130 on Millennium in February. This is a standard CC cabin, very nice, in a good, quiet location.
CaliforniaDreamin Posted June 9, 2007 #6 Share Posted June 9, 2007 We had Summit 2B 8142 which at the aft elevator/stairs on W/C Alaska cruise and it was quiet area and motion did not bother us at all.
