My Majesty photos have a new home now!!!

Recommended Posts

Thanks for sharing the pictures. We're going in July on the Majesty, a surprise for Hubby, for Father's Day.

We love that ship!

What cabin did you have?

I love that ship too:)

We had cabin #4596, which was a great location for my Mom. It was right at the elevators and stairs.

We're on deck 5 right by Lattidudes, easy for getting coffee in the am and close 2 casino in evening. Our cabin is Cat F-1. Think it'll be enough room?

Nevermind the above question. We're basically in the same cabin as you had only a deck higher.

The cabins are tight, but we got by pretty good. It was two of (both women) so of course we had plenty of stuff, but there was enough space in the closet for our clothing, and we also utilized the space under the bed, which worked our great for our bags. If you booked a oceanview cabin, you can also use the little shelf below the window. We used that for our miscellanous stuff and I would use it in the mornings when drinking my coffee.

You'll be fine!

THe pictures have me goten me soo excited! I also have an outside cabin. Unfortunately, I have two younger girls, and can't get a JS. They only accom. 3. We will adapt! Did you notice if there were kids on board? This is the first time going on a trip while school is in session. (Most likely the last too.) I hope they run the adventure ocean program with a small amount of children. I have heard that other lines will cancel or close. My DD loved her last visit and since there is no "children's" pool, it will give her something else to do.

We were on the ship the week of April 23rd and there was good amount of kids, but not as many as you would see when school is out. However, at one of the shows in the theater, the kids put on a show of their own, all organized by the kids club and it was great. Everytime we saw any kids at all, they were always with the crew involved with different activities. I have read that RCCL does a great job with kids, and I saw proof of that! Your kids will have a great time!!!!!!!!!

corrinnv-your children will have a blast on the cruise. The children's program that RCI has is awesome. Our children asked every morning when they could go to "their cruise." We thought they wouldn't want to be away from us for too long, but we were proven wrong!:p

Thanks! Now for my "hurdle"..flying. I have such anxiety I have not flown in 6 yrs almost. I found a great fare on Southwest, it will be cheaper than the drive. (From LI NY!)

I know how you feel! I have been traveling for years, and I still have a fear of flying, no matter how short the flight is, I hate it, but on my last two trips, I have been able to relax a little more, and I owe that all to two great books I had the pleasure of reading while flying. I also managed to take short naps, which helps. My biggest problem is my ears. Everytime the plane is ready to land and we drop in altitude, my ears ache terribly. I chew lots of gum, but it doesnt help at all. Two years ago when my husband and I were on a Delta flight from Mexico, my ears ached so bad I was in tears:( . It was awful!!

jamaica71594, I enjoyed looking at your cruise pictures! We have plenty of pictures of things we did on the ship, but the weather was not the greatest during our cruise, so we dont have many pictures of Nassau, or Coco Cay.

Thats great! Your Mom will have a good time on this ship!!

My Mom (turned 72 in Feb) really enjoyed herself. Her favorite thing to do was lounge on the pool deck and people watch, stuff her bag with cookies at night and have a tall glass of lemonade.:) She was so comical on this trip:D She also enjoyed the shows.

We are cruising again in May 2008 on the Enchantment.

Have a great time, and I hope you plan to post pictures when you return.

Here is a link to a photo album I created for her online as a gift. I ordered it and waiting for its arrival!
