How is the water temp. in June? Warm enough to swim?

I was there last week. It is a bit cool but warm enough for me to swim. That is it felt cool going into the water, but after I immersed myself I got used to the water temperature.

I was also there last week - the water temp was about 72 degrees according to the captain of our Jesse James snorkel boat. Jumping off the side of the boat into the water to snorkel just about took my breath away. It was so cold, I didn't go in the water for the next snorkel stop. At the beach, I was OK just walking along the edge of the surf, but I couldn't bring myself to go swimming in water that cold.....although, there were quite a few others enjoying the cold water!
