victory dining rooms

I understand there are two main dining rooms aboard this ship - one is midship and one is aft (I believe the one aft is the Pacific dining room) - any recommendations on which one is nicer?

You will be assigned to a dining room depending on what seating you get, so it isn't like you have any say in which dining room you will be at anyway.

Not necessarily true, if you know the seating times of the rooms, you can request those seating times. I've been able to get the dining room I want every time.:cool:

You can request anything - no guarantees you will have your request fullfilled by my past cruise experience has been that every effort is made to facilitate requests. Thanks for the tip re times I will call and ask Carnival what times are assoc. to what dining rooms....

When we went we had the middle dinning room, but one night we got to go to the back dinning room. And if I remember right the back dinning room had more windows. I wish we would of had the back one!!

We were upstairs in the Pacific but in kind of an odd place where there were no windows. Had lunch in there at the very back - a gorgeous view overlooking the ship's wake.

The Pacific Dining Room (aft) is larger and has windows on three sides. Dining times are 5:45 and 8:00. The Atlantic Dining Room (midships) has windows on two sides. Dining times are 6:15 and 8:30. We've been in the Atlantic Dining Room on both our Victory cruises; our preferred dining time is 6:15, and we've received that both times. We've never been seated by a window, anyway.

Ask for the Main floor of the Pacific - window table and you won't be disappointed. Atlantic looks out onto a deck with chairs and even those tables a limited.

The Pacific is great for breakfast/lunch, as you have a nice view from all the windows.

 

We always had late dinner seating, so it didn't matter, I don't recall seeing the sunsets.

Dont know about the Atlantic but the Pacific was nice and we had a great waitress Xue. Our seating was at 5:45 pm.
